• 2. How long are positions available on the website?
There is no minimum amount of time a position must be posted. Generally they are posted until filled.
• 3. How do I apply for a position at OSU-UML?
Identify a position for which you want to apply and submit your resume electronically through our online system. We only accept resumes/CV's that are submitted through our jobs page for a specific position.
• 4. How do I know that my resume/CV was received?
You will receive an email confirmation from our Human Resources department after you submit your resume and cover letter. If your qualifications match the specific needs for the position, a representative will contact you by phone and/or email.
• 5. What are the citizenship requirements for employment at OSU-UML?
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 6. Must I have a security clearance to work at OSU-UML?
We will note whether or not a security clearance is essential for the position in the job requirements. Some opportunities may require that candidates hold a current security clearance; candidates who do not hold such clearance will not be qualified for those positions. If a clearance is required for the position but is not necessary upon date of hire, we will begin the process of obtaining a security clearance for you after you accept the position.
• 7. How do I know if I'm being considered for a position?
Our Human Resources department reviews all resume's/CV'S for those candidates who most closely align with the needs of the position. If you qualifications match the specific needs for the position, our Human Resources department will contact you by phone and/or email to discuss your qualifications further.
• 8. Am I required to have a background investigation?
Candidates selected for employment will be required to complete a background investigation successfully. Candidates must submit to a background investigation. The results of the background investigation must meet the standards of the position in order for the candidate to be considered for employment.
• 9. What is your selection process?
Our selection process varies per position but generally follows the following steps:
• Resume is received and evaluated against job requirements.
• Qualified candidates are contacted for an interview.
• References may be requested and will be checked.
• Offer is negotiated and is contingent on satisfactory completion of requirements, including but not limited to background checks and drug testing.
• Selected candidate is notified as are declined candidates.
• 10. How do I know if I've been declined after an interview?
You will receive a letter notifying you of our decision to pursue other candidates. Generally these notifications occur at the end of our selection process. If declined, you may check our jobs website for new positions.

• 1. What category of UAS can be flown at OTC-US?
Current operations allow for the use of category three UAS (up to 450 pounds). Future operations will allow the use of category four UAS.
• 2. What type of demonstrations/operations can the OTC-US support?
In addition to allowing customer UAS operations and flights, the UML has its own UAS, the Tigershark XTS, which is available for operations and demonstrations involving new technology and sensors. OTC-US will soon have a second Tigershark XTS.
• 3. Do OTC-US customers have access to the Fort Sill range areas?
DoD and DoD sponsored customers have the ability to gain access to Fort Sill’s ranges and training areas.
